It's just theres this person which is talking to me and they're so irritating and it's really annoying me but I dont want to have to go offline just because of them.

Create a friends list with this person in it. You can select to appear offline to specific Friend Lists within Chat. Simply select the %26quot;Go Offline%26quot; toggle next to the top of each Friend List you would like to appear offline to. You will no longer appear as available to chat to people on these lists.

click on chat... click on options... click on friends lists... display these lists... add friend to list... you can go offline to that list and stay online to the rest
and it takes 10 min to go to idle but that wont really help at all in this situation
Create a friend list
Add all those people you want to ignore
Then you can set offline to that friend list in chat application.
